Professional Portfolio

Growing up, I’ve always had a passion for doing something different. Art, music, and visuals always fascinated me since I was a little child. I always enjoyed exploring new ideas and challenging myself with new things. Music, poetry, painting, and dancing are just a few examples of things I challenged myself with and I enjoyed every bit of these experiences. Among these, one thing that I enjoyed doing the most was painting. I have been painting since I was very young. From my love for painting, I discovered my passion for makeup because I found both of these to be very similar. Paper is my canvas when I am painting. While I am doing makeup, a face is my canvas.

I have been perusing my career as a makeup artist since 2016. I was able to officially start my career in this field after winning the first-ever makeup competition in Bangladesh, “Challenge with Colors”, organized by NTV and Woman’s World ltd. This gave me a great platform to start my career and gave me great media exposure from the get-go.

After winning the competition, even more opportunities in this field started to come in. I started working with The Daily Star for their lifestyle magazine. Few of the best work of my career is sure with The Daily Star due to how unique each project was.

Meanwhile, I started my own YouTube channel based on beauty and lifestyle videos on the same year, and from the beginning, I was overwhelmed with all the support and appreciation. I started with making Halloween makeup tutorials. Back in 2016, Halloween was still not a thing in Bangladesh. But still, I was always obsessed with Halloween transformations because it requires immense creativity and patience

Throughout this time, I have been consistently doing bridal makeup on clients. Although bridal makeup can be very hectic and challenging at times, every time the emotional reactions of the bride after the makeover is done, makes it all worth it.

I was able to collaborate with many talented creators like Kaushik Iqbal and Shakkor Zaman, two leading names when it comes to fashion photography and cinematography in Bangladesh. We collaborated to come up with various creative photoshoots and videos. Many of these shoots were with influencers and celebrities like Ridy Sheikh, Raba Khan, Jessia Islam, Afia Tabassum Borno, Lamia Rahman, and many more.
